Atta Kwami
Beardsmore Gallery welcomes the return of the established Ghanaian artist, Atta Kwami, with an exhibition of vibrant new paintings.
It includes commissioned paintings inspired by black African footballers for The Football Museum, and relief prints based on African collections for the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge and the World Museum Liverpool.
Atta works in both Ghana and the UK and exhibits widely in Africa, Europe and the USA. Public Collections include : National Museum of Ghana, The British Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, V&A, The Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, National Museum of Kenya, The Newark Museum USA.
